1. Introduction

Prime Shiners ("we", "our" or "the Platform") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use and share the information you provide when you use our website and booking platform to connect with independent auto detailing professionals ("Service Providers").

2. Information we collect

When you request a service we collect:

Identifiers: name, phone number, email address and service address. Your mobile number is collected with your explicit consent when you choose to receive SMS messages.
Property information: vehicle make, model, color and condition.
Commercial information: records of services purchased or considered.
Financial information: payment details are processed by our third party payment processor; we never store raw card numbers.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to operate the Platform and deliver the service you requested:

Routing: to dispatch your request and location to an available independent Service Provider.
Secure communications: calls and texts between you and your Service Provider run through our secure messaging network, so your real phone number is not shown to the Service Provider.
Support and dispute resolution: to process payments, handle customer support and review before and after photos submitted by the Service Provider.

4. How we share your information

Prime Shiners does not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With Service Providers: your first name, vehicle details and service address go to the independent Service Provider assigned to your booking so they can perform the work.
With our SMS provider: your mobile number is shared with our messaging provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive. It is never shared with any third party or affiliate for their marketing.
For legal compliance: when required by California or federal law, or to protect the safety and property of Prime Shiners, our users or the public.

5. Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to:

Know: request the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions such as completing a pending transaction or legal compliance.
Non discrimination: receive the same service and pricing whether or not you exercise these rights.

6. SMS text messages

If you provide your mobile number and consent to SMS, we use it only to send the categories of messages you agreed to. SMS consent is optional and is not required to book or complete a service.

Appointment texts, when you tick the confirmation box at booking:

Appointment confirmations and reminders
Booking confirmations and schedule changes
Payment confirmations and invoice notifications
Customer service responses
Job dispatch and assignment notifications, for independent Service Providers

Reminder and offer texts, only if you separately opt in: a reminder when your next detail is due and occasional offers, about one message a month. This is a separate choice from appointment texts, it is never pre selected, and declining it does not affect your booking.

How we handle your mobile information: we do not share, sell, lease or rent your mobile number, your consent records or your mobile data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Mobile information collected through our SMS program is used only for the purposes above. Your number may be shared with our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages you consented to.

Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one final confirmation message and nothing further. Reply START to resume.
